On behalf of the Directorate General for Translation of the European Commission (DGT), the Language Technology Centre Ltd (LTC) is carrying out a study aimed at understanding the size of the language industry in the 27 European Union Member States, in terms of economic value, structure and main drivers.
For this purpose, LTC is distributing questionnaires to a large number of individuals, small enterprises, language service providers and language service departments located in the 27 European Union Member States.
This questionnaire represents an exceptional opportunity for the interested persons to describe their situation and compare it with the overall position. The final report will include the participants’ comments as well as a comprehensive list of all contributors to the study.
